’30 Rock’ star Tracy Morgan was rushed to a Utah hospital after collapsing at an event during the Sundance Film Festival.

According to reports, the comedian turned actor, was being honored by the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards when he passed out!

Today, Tracy joked with Twitter followers…..

“Superman ran into a little kryptonite. The high altitude in Utah shook up this kid from Brooklyn.”  He went on to thank the hospital staff for their efforts.

Rumors were swarming that Morgan appeared drunk on the red carpet…..

He was escorted out of the building following his acceptance speech, where he fell unconscious and was rushed to the hospital.

His rep Lewis Kay claims Morgan collapse because of Park City’s high altitude (Utah’s elevation is around 7,000 feet), and that “exhaustion” was the reason for the hospitalization.

A hospital rep also confirmed that any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100% false.

The 43 year old suffers from diabetes and underwent a kidney transplant two years ago.

The media was buzzing, when reports hit that singer Mario attacked his mom!

But the first thing that came to my mind, was that it had something to do with his mom’s long-time drug abuse!

On Friday, the 24 year old singer, was charged with second-degree assault after his mother, Shawntia Hardaway, told police that she feared for her life after he shoved her, yelled at her and damaged property in their Baltimore apartment.

A source reported that the fight allegedly broke out because of her lifelong battle with drugs.

The source said Mario learned his mother had withdrawn money from his bank account to support her habit and also charged up his credit cards. When he got home, he found her “cracked out on drugs,” the source says.

Although he was taken into custody, witnesses say the singer did nothing wrong; he was only trying to help calm his mother down. The source suspects all charges will be dropped.

Mario isn’t allowed to comment on the situation……

But he did issue this statement……..

“I love my mother very much. I will continue to support her any way that I can.”

Miami Heat player Udonis Haslem is breathing a sigh of relief!

The Miami born forward was popped last month for possession of marijuana, while driving in his Mercedes with a homeboy!

On Thursday, the Dade County state attorney’s office dropped the charges after finding his fingerprints were not found on pill bottles containing the weed!!

According to reports, UD was driving in Miami and stopped for illegal window-tinting and speeding.

During the search, the popo found the ooooweee and charged Haslem with one felony count of possession and four counts for paraphernalia!

UD’s homeboy, Antwain Fleming, who was in the car said the package belonged to him!

Fleming was charged with misdemeanor possession…..

The state is pursing those charges!

Well, according to reports a Washington woman who gained worldwide sympathy, after she claimed a random assailant threw acid on her face, came forwarded and said she was just playing!

The recent murder case of former NBA player Lorenzen Wright is unfolding……in an ugly way!

According to the reports, the Memphis born player’s personal assistant told a local television news station Monday that she had audio recordings of Wright’s ex-wife threatening to harm him.

The former personal assistant, Wendy Wilson, told ABC24-WPTY that Sherra Wright was recorded saying “things like if she caught him with anyone else, she’d have him ‘F’d up’ or whatever,” according to an article posted on myeyewitnessnews.com, a website for the ABC affiliate.

Wilson said she filed a report with Memphis police because she felt the recorded conversations were “threatening.” She said Lorenzen Wright asked her to keep the tape, adding “he wouldn’t have asked me to keep them if he didn’t think he’d need them someday.”

OMG….this is not sounding good AT ALL!!

According to the tea, Wright arrived in Memphis unexpectedly on July 18, with his “girlfriend” in tow.

The alleged girlfriend, Alexis Bradley, posted photos of herself with Wright on her Facebook page after his body was discovered.

Lorenzen Wright’s bullet riddled body was found in a Southeast Memphis field on Wednesday, July 28, not far from his mother’s home. He had been missing for 9 days.

Sherra Wright’s divorce attorney, Gail Mathes, told police Wright was herself threatened six weeks before her ex-husband was gunned down by unknown assailant.

Mathes said three armed men showed up at Wright’s door demanding to see her ex-husband. She said the men threatened Wright and her family if she reported them to the police. Wright said the three men wore sport jackets which they opened to reveal guns in their waistbands.

Earlier reports said that Lorenzen and his wife Sherra were in the process of reconciling their marriage.

However, an inside source is telling a different story……

A family friend told Sportscasm.com that Lorenzen Wright planned to remove his children from his ex-wife’s home and relocate them to Atlanta on the day he was killed, because she was addicted to crack cocaine.

My inside Memphis source confirmed that Lorenzen Wright adored and doted on his kids — especially Loren, his favorite. According to cell phone records, Loren was the last person he spoke to the night he died. He called Loren from inside the house. He was on the first floor and she was upstairs in her bedroom.

Its really starting to sound like Sherra Wright knows more than what she’s telling……

According to the AJC, “when the Wrights divorced, the court ordered Lorenzen Wright to pay $26,000 a month in child support and alimony.”

Wright made no payments after November 2009, and Sherra Wright struggled to make ends meet. She told the police she last saw her ex-husband when he left her home around 2 a.m. on July 19 with an unknown person.

But according to Germantown police, a 911 call was made from Lorenzen Wright’s cell phone just after midnight on July 19. A man was heard uttering an expletive before rapid fire gunshots could be heard in a taped recording of the call. Police believe Wright was killed at that time. If so, then Sherra Wright’s statement conflicts with the timing of the 911 call.

Sherra Wright also told police that when she awoke around 2 a.m. on July 19, her van was missing from the driveway. She said when she woke up again a few hours later, the van was back in her driveway. She was sitting in that same van outside her home on Sunday, July 1, as homicide investigators conducted a search of her home.

Investigators paid particular attention to a bbq grill in Wright’s backyard. Neighbors say they saw a fire burning in the backyard the same night Lorenzen Wright went missing.

Memphis city leaders called for a unified 911 call center in light of a report that the Germantown dispatcher who took Wright’s cell call couldn’t pinpoint his location because her screen came up blank. The dispatcher said she consulted with a supervisor who told her the call originated from outside of the Germantown jurisdiction.

Germantown PD did not forward the details of the 911 call to Memphis investigators for more than a week.

This is such a tragic story…..

Family, friends, classmates and teammates packed the U.S Century Bank Arena to remember the 22 year old star football player. SMH!!!

According to police reports, Berry got into an argument, on campus, with former FIU teammate Quentin Wyche, 22 (pictured above) Thursday night….

Wyche reportedly insulted Berry’s girl and threw cookies in her face…..

When confronted, Wyche stabbed Berry one time in the stomach…..

Witnesses say Wyche looked over Berry, as he lay on the ground, and said, “that’s what he gets…..I told y’all!”

Wyche is behind bars awaiting a bond hearing!

Berry died on the way to the hospital!

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends!  SMH!!

Sadly, a body found buried in a backyard was identified by authorities as Abraham Shakespeare!

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office, the body was found at a Plant City, Florida home connected to Dorice Moore, who befriended Shakespeare!

Shakespeare hit the lotto, in 2006, for $31 mill but took the lump sum payment of nearly $17 million big ones!

Lawd, I feel so sorry for his mother….who was praying that her son was just on an island getting away from all of the money hungry folks!
