Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade left no stones unturned, as he celebrated his 30th birthday with a weekend of celebrity filled parties in Wade County.

The talk of the weekend was his VIP invitation only dinner party at Miami Beach’s 5 star Setai Hotel.

To help the NBA Champ and Olympic gold medalist celebrate the big 3.0, there was a $230,000 McLaren, that was airlifted onto a platform in the middle of the pool……

A birthday serenade by Kelly Rowland…….

Aaliyah Haughton was only 22 years old when she died in a plane crash in the Bahamas on Aug. 25, 2001, after shooting her video ‘Rock the Boat’.

Her close friends and collaborators open up about the tragic loss in the BET tribute “Aaliyah: One in a Million.”

Patti LaBelle and Kelly Rowland are also among the stars featured in the tribute, which will air on BET Thursday, August 25.

Timbaland is a good friend of mine and I know that he is still dealing with the loss of Aaliyah, whom he considered as his little sister.

I’m sure the tribute is going to be touching!

The pint-size actor was the star of the show.  His monologues were hilarious and not overly written and corny like some of the presentation scripts.

I absolutely loved the ‘House Husbands’ bit with Bobby Brown, Nelly, Nick Cannon, and Jermaine Dupri.

According to sources, “Sasha Fierce” won’t be live and full effect, rather via satellite, as she is scheduled to perform in London at the Glastonbury Festival.

However, ‘Motivation’ singer Kelly Rowland, Mary J Blige, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Alicia Keys and Jill Scott are set to hit the stage, at the award show, in Los Angeles in June.

Legendary singer Patti LaBelle will receive the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award.’

The BET Awards airs Sunday, June 26th.
