According to the tea, the former heavyweight champion and sports icon sent the Dallas Mavericks leader a gift for winning the NBA Championship.

In an interview, in his hometown of Wurzberg, Germany, Dirk said that the gift that made him the happiest was the boxing glove from the champ, with ‘You are the Greatest’ inscribed.

The veteran player said that he returned the notion, by sending Ali a golden basketball with the similiar inscription.

Such a meaningful gesture!

Could there be a rematch between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield in the making?

According to a Yahoo Sports report, Tyson is currently eligible for induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame, but if he gets the chance for a comeback bout against his rival, that induction will have to wait.

Ummm okay…..I’ll believe it when I see it!

“There has been talk that Tyson will fight Evander Holyfield again, a match that shouldn’t happen, but might because of the money involved,” Yahoo Sports’ Kevin Iole said.

Now errbody know…..Tyson and Holyfield are not in the mental or physical state for a fight!

In the last fight in 2005 against Kevin McBride, Tyson couldn’t even finish the battle.

Around the time of his retirement, he lost three out of four of his last fights.

He couldn’t get past two rounds.

And Holyfield……just don’t worry about it!

If you’ve ever read or followed the life of Mike Tyson, you know that he has raised pigeons all of his life!

The show is scheduled to be taped this spring in New York City and air early next year on the Animal Planet!

But the venue is still under negotiations……and every stadium in the country is trying to get a piece of the action.

According to reports, the Miami Dolphins have emailed season ticket holders and other fans to gauge their interest if the fight was staged at Land Shark Stadium.

The Dallas Cowboys Stadium and Louisiana Superdome are also expected to bid.

Mayweather’s promoter, Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer, stuck a fork in the idea of staging the fight in an outdoor stadium.

So it looks like ole ‘Sin City’ Vegas will have it again!
