Miami Rapper Rick Ross capped off his birthday day celebration with a near death experience.

Hip Hop star Rick Ross was close to meeting his maker after encountering a barrage of bullets from an unknown assailant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

According to reports, Ross celebrated his 37th birthday Sunday night in Miami Beach, partying with P Diddy and performing his newest single, Box Chevy , at LIV nightclub in the Fontainebleau hotel.

While apparently on his way to the Floridian diner on Las Olas Boulevard for a birthday breakfast with his girlfriend, Shateria Moragne-el, a barrage of bullets tore through the air, directed at Ross’ 2011 Rolls-Royce.

As bullets whizzed by, Ross reportedly lost control of the Rolls and crashed into a small apartment building, taking out a few small palm trees.

Thank God, neither Ross, his girlfriend, nor anyone inside the all-night diner was injured.

The assailant or assailants escaped before police arrived.

After a close call like that, Ross needs to be reaching out to Kirk Franklin to start doing Hip Hop Gospel.
