Gunman kills campus officer and himself! 
On Thursday, a Virginia Tech police officer was shot dead in his parked cruiser.
According to reports, Officer Deriek W. Crouse, a trained firearms and defense instructor, was sitting in his car when an unidentified gunman approached and shot him dead.
In 2007, VT was the scene of the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
