Soul Train will celebrate its 40th anniversary during this year’s award show.

Can you believe its been 40 years since Don Cornelius hit the scene with the legendary Soul Train?

During this year’s awards, the “Legend Award” will go to songstress of soul Gladys Knight and the iconic elements of the universe…..Earth, Wind and Fire, for their longstanding contributions and influence to the world of music!

Comedian/actor Cedric the Entertainer will host the third annual show on November 17th at the Fox Theater in Atlanta.

Previous shows were hosted by ‘Hustle and Flow’ stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P Henson.

The show will air Sunday, November 27th on BET!
