Comedian Wanda Sykes recently revealed that she had a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

According to reports, Sykes 47, discovered her diagnosis after undergoing a breast reduction in February.
The actress jokingly told Ellen DeGeneres, in a recent interview…….
My original equipment was real big and I just got tired of knocking over stuff. Every time I eat — oh Lord, I’d carry a Tide stick everywhere I go. My back was sore so it was time to have a reduction.”
The stand up comedian said her pathology test revealed what she called “stage zero” cancer in her left breast.
But with a history of breast cancer, on her mother’s side’ and possible future of monthly exams, Skyes opted to have both breast removed.
On rather or not to spill her tea about her health, the funny woman said…..
I was like, I don’t know, should I talk about it or what? How many things could I have? I’m black, then lesbian. I can’t be the poster child for everything.
