According to the tea, Dash, the show’s leading lady, has decided to exit on her own terms!
Amid rumors that the stunning actress, who played boutique owner Val, had too much divatude on the set and was fired…..
The “Clueless” star pours a different cup of tea…..
I have to be back in L.A. with my children right now and the Single Ladies shooting location [in Atlanta] makes this impossible. I wish VH1 the best of luck with the show in maintaining the strong fan base we developed in Season 1.”

VH1 respects Stacey’s decision and her commitment to what she feels is best for her family. We thank her for all of her hard work in making Single Ladies a success right out of the gate, and we wish her nothing but the best in her future plans.”
In my recent interview with Stacey’s former co-star LisaRaye, the two have gotten into arguments on the set, but it never interfered with their work.
“When you are on the set for 19 hours, tempers flare and personalities come out…..But Stacey and I have been friends for years. When they say “action” its back to business, said LisaRaye
There’s been no confirmation of Dash’s replacement.
But, rumors have been swarming about Sanaa Lathan, Meagan Good, or Christina Milian….
Those are some pretty big Louboutins to fill, cause Stacey played the hell out of “Val”!
