Pittsburgh Steelers player Hines Ward was arrested for DUI, this weekend!

Apparently, the Dancing with the Stars champ couldn’t Cha Cha his way out of this one!

According to reports, the Wide Receiver was arrested outside of Atlanta for driving under the influence.

The former Super Bowl MVP was booked into the Dekalb County jail at 3:41a.m on Saturday.

The 35 year old was released on a $1,000 bond.

Atlanta lawyer Andrew Ree issued this statement……

From our preliminary investigation we can tell you that we are confident that the facts will show that Hines was NOT impaired by alcohol while driving.  However, Hines is deeply saddened by this incident and apologizes to his fans and the Steelers organization for this distraction.

Back in May, while in Los Angeles taping DWTS, the Wide Receiver was mistakenly arrested by L.A popo with guns blazing and all!

L.A. PD thought the car Ward was driving was stolen.

Oddly enough, with all of the popular prank shows in L.A, Ward thought he was being ‘Punk’d'!

Hines and his partner Kim Johnson went on to win season 12 of the popular celebrity dance competition.
