Actor Jamie Foxx has been confirmed for the lead role in the next Quentin Taratino flick!
The multi-talented star is set to feature in the upcoming Western movie Django Unchained.
In the movie, scheduled to hit theaters on Christmas 2012, Foxx will play the role of Django, a freed American slave who enlists the help of a German bounty hunter in order to save his wife from a sadistic plantation owner named Calvin Candie.
Other celebs reportedly playing in the movie are Leonardo DiCaprio, who will play the evil plantation owner, Cristoph Waltz (Inglorious Basterds), taking on the bounty hunter’s role, and Samuel L. Jackson, who will play the role of Stephen, Candie’s slave and right-hand man.
Foxx, 43, told CNN……
I think, just to be able to work with Quentin Tarantino and Samuel L Jackson, Leonardo DiCaprio, and to be able to tell a story that needs to be told.” He continued, “If you’re a fan of Inglourious Basterds, I mean, you know… it’s just amazing. It should be amazing.
Sounds like another blockbuster hit!
