NBA star Shaquille O’Neal has announced his retirement!
After 19 years in the National Basketball League, O’Neal has decided to stick a fork in it!
At 39, O’Neal a.k.a the Diesel was one of the oldest players remaining in the league.
Shaq tweeted….. We did it. 19 years baby. I want to thank you very much. That’s why I’m telling YOU first. I’m about to retire. Love you. Talk to you soon.
O’Neal started his NBA career with the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and closed out at the Boston Celtics.
He raked in 4 NBA Championships, one with the Heat and three with the Lakers.
I’m sure the Big Man has a plan for his next level…….a tv show, sports commentary, all of the above.
The “larger than life” sports star will be missed on the courts!
