The Essence Festival is adding more divatude to the line up!

Grammy winners Chaka Khan and Jennifer Hudson will perform live at the weekend festivities!

The 2011 Essence Music Festival, shuts down the city of New Orleans for July 4th weekend with concerts, seminars, and a whole lot of fun!

According to Festival officials, Kem, Marsha Ambrosius, New Edition, Hal Linton, Eric Benet, Doug E. Fresh, Naughty By Nature and Vanessa Bell Armstrong have also been added to the roster of artists scheduled to perform in the Louisiana Superdome.

Weekend headliners include Mary J. Blige, Trey Songz, Jill Scott and Kanye West.

I might need to find my way to Essence this year!
