L.A. MAYOR FINED FOR GETTING HOOKED UP!

Looks like L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has been getting free tickets to several entertainment events……

And the watchdogs don’t like it one bit!!

According to reports, California’s campaign finance watchdog is recommending the largest combined fine in the agency’s history against the California Mayor, for failing to report free tickets.

In 2010, the city commission voted to prohibit all elected officials from accepting free tickets to events, if the donor has business before the city.

Villaraigosa admitted that he accepted tickets to the Academy Awards, American Idol Finals, L.A Lakers and Dodgers games!

He has been fined about $42,000.00.

I don’t think that elected officials should abuse their power…..

But, come on…..I don’t see any harm in receiving tickets to events held in the city that you oversee!

Oh well…..pay up Mayor V!!!
