Actor Michael L. Brea is in police custody in Brooklyn, New York after reportedly killing his mother with a samurai sword while screaming biblical passages.
According to the popo, on the day before Thanksgiving, the actor who appeared on an episode of ‘Ugly Betty’ “sliced his mother’s head off during the attack”. **wide-eyed**

“I didn’t kill her. I killed the demon inside her,” Michael Brea said in a chilling hourlong interview with the Daily News in the prison ward at Bellevue Hospital.
When told his mother, Yannick Brea, 55, had died in the grisly assault early Tuesday, Michael was unrepentant. “So be it. It was the work of God,” he said.
The 31 year old Brea, was convinced his mother was possessed by the devil when he brutally whacked her with the 3-foot ceremonial sword swiped from a Masonic lodge, according to police sources and his uncle.
The victim’s sister said the son – who appeared in an episode of “Ugly Betty” – returned home from a Monday night meeting at a Masonic lodge complaining of a headache.
“He went to sleep and woke up in the middle of the night, and that’s when this happened,” said Gina Dumond, 39.
