JAMIE FOXX SUED BY BARTENDER

Jamie Foxx can’t blame it on the al-al-alcohol…….

Or maybe he can!

The singer/actor/comedian was recently involved with a lawsuit filed by a bartender who claimed Foxx and some others caused injuries while he was working at a party.

THE TEA HERE

According to reports, William Presler was hired to work an after-party in Hollywood for Foxx, and during the event, the bartender supposedly slipped and fell, cutting his left hand while serving partygoers.

He received 170 stitches.

Last week, Foxx’s lawyers argued that suit be dropped, saying the artists’ actions were carefully scripted and limited to a brief exchange of greetings and a welcome statement to guests.

In papers filed by his attorneys….

“Neither Foxx nor Foxx 2007 Tours were involved in the planning, organizing, selection of party fixtures, staffing decisions … associated with post-concert parties … Nor is there evidence that the Foxx defendants created a hazardous condition or (were) even aware that one existed.”

A hearing on the dismissal motion is scheduled for Oct. 1.
