Celebs like actress Taraji P Henson (pictured above looking uber fab) hit the red carpet for the VH1 Honors last night in New York!

Ummm……

Am I the only one trying to figure out why it was held in NY, if they were paying homage to artists who put the Dirty South on the Hip Hop map?

It could’ve been taped in Miami, Atlanta or Texas!
