I recently caught NFL player Mike Vick, on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, talking about his second chance, lessons learned and his new documentary!

THE STORY HERE

The Philadelphia Eagles back up Quarterback, lost EVERYTHING when he was sentenced to prison for dog fighting!

When Tom asked what he learned from the experience, Vick replied: “Keep family first, because they will have your back til the end.”

His documentary/reality show “The Michael Vick Project” airs on BET, February 2nd 10pm/9c……and I hear it’s going to be pretty deep!

Vick also admitted to Tom, that it hasn’t been easy getting back in good graces with NFL fans and animal rights folks….

But he is proving himself on the field; as well as his outreach efforts with PETA!

And check this out, the PETA headquarters was only a few miles away from Vick’s Virginia home, when he was illegally fighting! SMH

I am an avid doggy lover…..but sending that man to prison for almost 2-3 years was some real boofalay!!

Hell, its a million nuts out there, who needed to be taking up that space! {blank stare}

I’m glad he is redeeming himself!
