Thousands paid respect to R&B legend Teddy Pendergrass at a memorial service in Philadelphia.

Of course the “Turn off the Lights” crooner was laid to rest in grand style…..with performances by singers Tyrese, Melba Moore and a 200 member gospel choir.

About 4,000 people attended, including actor Ben Vereen, Music Soulchild and singer Stephanie Mills.

Teddy lost his battle with cancer at the age of 59!

His songs will be embedded in our minds and hearts forever!
