JORDAN PASSES THE TORCH TO WADE

NBA great Michael Jordon recently came to Miami to officially name Heat star Dwayne Wade as the successor to wear the Jordan 25th Anniversary signature sneaker……MORE BELOW

During a promo photo shoot in Miami, the Hall of Famer(Jordan) and Five-time All-Star(Wade) had fun with some choice words…..

Wade said Jordan retired before he had to deal with a matchup between the two.  Jordan fired back, “He thinks he can beat me….I know I can beat him.  He’s wearing my shoe.  I’m not wearing Dwayne Wade’s.” 

Wade said he has been waiting since he was 2 to wear Jordan’s…but struggled to hold his tongue and not spill the exciting news to his teammates. 

Wade will test the shoe in practice and plans to debut it as early as the Heat’s Christmas Day game at New York.  

The 25th Anniversary Jordan’s will be released early 2010 and retail at about $170.00

Congrats D Wade!  You make us proud!  Watch out Jordan don’t try to be slick and talk our star player to Chicago!
