Comedian/actor Gary Owen was at this year’s Tom Joyner Family Reunion. He is actually a regular on the Tom Joyner Morning Show and dude is a complete fool on the air and in person. The former class clown, joked his way to becoming, the only white man to have ever hosted BET’s Comicview and the only white on-air personality the network has ever had…..
In his stand ups, he always talks about being married to a sista and for the record, he really is and they have beautiful bi-racial kids! I guess it has to be hard being a comedians wife, especially when they use your personal experiences in their performances…..
All I know is that its funny as h.e.double hockey sticks! As much as I love to laugh, all my man has to do is make me laugh and I’m not mad anymore, until the next day!
You can catch Gary, playing Zach, the barber, on Tyler Perry’s hit series, House of Payne……He met Perry, while performing at the T.J Family Reunion a few years ago, and as they say the rest is history……
He credits Tom Joyner for getting him that gig, “Tom raises money to send black kids to college. He hooked me up with T.P, now I can send my black kids to school.”

I agree!!! He is hilarious…just saw him at the Taste of Chicago comedy tour, he is off the hook. We bought his DVD’s and watched them with my family over Thanksgiving break…we are STILL laughing. Love you Gary, your wife is beautiful!

Why doesn’t Gary show pictures of his wife? Doesn’t he know that the sista’s are curious to see what she looks like
