I am in Orlando working the Tom Joyner All State Family Reunion, but it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t keep my folks in the know with all the behind the scene scoop……I spotted Ginuwine and his wifey Sole with the kids at the Gaylord Palms, which is the host hotel and property for the majority of the scheduled events…..MORE
Ginuwine, who is looking rather fine these days, will perform on Friday. BTW, Sole is still beautiful, she has picked up a few pounds from the kids and that’s a good thing….
Also in this weekend’s line up, Vanessa Williams, Raphael Saadiq, Ruben Studdard, Loose Ends, and Dougie Fresh, Joe, Trey Songs, Maxwell…….
Now the hot tea is that Mr. Pretty Wings does not want any video cameras, pictures or anything recording during his performance. Not even, the big jumbo tron screens that we will use on the side of the stage so all the folks in the back can see him! NONE of that, honey!! Now aint that some chit!! Maybe he has a zit and dont want no close ups! Go figure….
Anywhoo, we are going to pray for him at the close out concert featuring BeBe & Ce Ce Winans, Israel Houghton and Dr. Bobby Jones-BET Gospel, who I swear look and remind me of my aunt Shirley…..The weekend will also include family activities, kids concerts, expo, and more.
If you aren’t familiar with Tom Joyner, you need to be shot, he is only the Oprah Winfrey of radio. Google him and find out. But most importantly, his mission is to raise money for students attending HBCUs(Historically Black Colleges and Universities) and for years he has been successfully providing financial support to the students as well as the colleges…..I sure could have used some of his paper when I was a student at Alabama State University…..
This weekend is sure to be full of action and excitement, so stay tuned for updates.

Girl, I am loving The Tea … you are dead on it! I was the interpreter for this morning’s praise celebration at the TJ Family Reunion and “what a time what a time what time” we all had up in there!!!!
