I was shocked when I received the call, while in Atlanta on Thursday, that P-man Sam had been killed. He was known in Miami for dibbing and dabbing in the music and promotions industry. As of late, I was told that he was working with a New York based magazine “Don Diva”. But several months ago, P-man was caught in a beef with Miami rapper Rick Ross after pouring the Tea, that Ross was once a Corrections Officer…..

According to sources, Ross became infuriated with Ferguson after seeing an interview with Hip-Hop Weekly as well as a Q & A that was issued in the magazine that was entitled, “Would The Real Rick Ross Stand Up.” Ross was cited as saying that he was offended by what was written and issued a challenge for Pman to meet him in the streets as it would become “Deeper than Rap”, which became the title of his latest album.
Fast forward to a year later, Sam is driving north bound on the Turnpike when a car pulls along side of him and pulls a Training Day move(in broad daylight) by riddling his car with bullets, killing him on the scene. According to the Hot Tea Honey Bees, a prior attempt was made a few months ago, when gunmen shot up a house Sam was visiting. That time he was the only person uninjured.
Ross’ involvement is only street talk. Let’s hope it stays that way, because at the end of the day nothing is worth someone’s life. Now a family grieves.
